Software Sales Representative

Role Summary
We are looking to hire a Software Sales Representative who is passionate Accounting and Business Management Solutions.  This role is primarily focused on new business and will give the right candidate room to develop and grow within the company.
Ideally you will have a strong software solutions sales background in accounting or ERP software.  This role is a full-time, permanent position focusing on the Connacht and Midlands regions.

This role would suit an ambitious, self-starter with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar business to business sales role. 

Duties and Responsibilities

What your role will involve:

• To manage all aspects of the sales cycle from lead generation through to proposal, onsite presentation and contract negotiations.
• Generate sales leads through cold calling and general territory management; working with internal marketing resources to maximise sales opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, tenders and sales proposals using standard pricing.
• Develop a territory plan to maximise sales opportunities with customers and partners.
• Co-ordinate and oversee demonstrations and presentations of products and services where appropriate.
• Develop effective business and commercial contacts within targeted industries.
• Develop, present and implement plans to your manager for acquiring new clients/ customers; including activity breakdowns, performance milestones, resource requirements and expense budget.
• Prepare and submit sales activity reports and sales forecasts as requested by your manager.

The Ideal Candidate will have:
• Minimum 2 years software sales experience, ideally in Accounting or ERP solutions, this experience must be recent and be direct sales to customers.
• Experience with end-to-end delivery of software solutions.
• Must be technically savvy, passionate about sales and enjoy working with customers.
• Skilled in relationship building with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver with the ability to prioritize and manage work load efficiently.
• Proven sales ability, including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills.
• A true passion to ensure the continued successful growth of the business.

Sales Administrator

Role Summary
The Sales Administrator is a supportive role that acts as an administrative assistant to the Sales Team, while also facilitating collaboration within the team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Administrator will also function as a liaison between the Sales Team and the other departments within the organisation.
This role would suit a team player with experience meeting deadlines and prioritising workloads. 

Duties and Responsibilities
 

What your role will involve:
• Support the Sales Team by managing schedules, creating sales documents and proposals, generating sales related reports for management and performing general office functions.
• Handle and prioritize prospects and customer requests among the Sales Team.
• Serve as liaison with other departments in the company to gather documentation and data for supporting the Sales Team.
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other related events.
• Work with Marketing Department to follow up on all campaigns and maximise sales opportunities.
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of the company.
• Monitor sales activity within our CRM software and assist the Sales Representatives where needed.
• Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities in our CRM software and remain compliant with defined policies and procedures.
• Achieve monthly sales and activities targets.
• Coordinate and liaise with Sales Team and Services Team to ensure company accreditations are achieved.
• Take on additional duties as the business needs require.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities
• Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy.
• Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
• Responsible for entering time and expenses in our management software as they occur.
• Understand processes in our CRM software by completing assigned training materials and blueprints through an online university.
• Enter all work as activities or service tickets in our CRM software.

Skills and Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in a similar, fast paced role.
• Must be technically savvy.
• Must be passionate about providing an excellent customer experience.
• Skilled in relationship building with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver with the ability to prioritize and manage work load efficiently.
• A true passion to ensure the continued successful growth of the business.
